Sfp scope question.

Hello airgun friends.

I guess if i have sfp scope and am dialing turrets for holdovers i can use it on any magnification power and always have hits spot on just like ffp. Because clicks value stays the same no matter what your mag is set up.

Am i right?

That is correct as long as your reference aim point is dead center of the reticle and won't matter what magnification you are at.

If you dial a large amount of clicks often you might want to check if your scope's click values are truly 0.1mil (or 1/4moa), or not.

For that you could mount the gun in a vice (or the scope onto a rail monted onto a table or something).

Dial the turrets and measure if the crosshairs move exactly as much as their stated click value (at the range you're measuring it).

If there is an error, you can program that into Strelok Pro and it will adjust your shooting solutions for that error.

Great info thanks Matthias.I use Element Helix which is supose to be made for dialing and so far it is spot on with clicks what chairgun gives me.But it is nice to have that option and know about it.
