Set up for comments and criticism

Hello everyone. My set up for comments and criticism . Sorry for the hanging cord.

@powerbroker, nice setup you have . very close to what i have. This oneway valve make filling easy. When. Installed just open tank valve all the way and compressor will do the rest. My friend here on forum Jimmy King is the man.

Thank you. The one way valve is at the bottom of the big gold just after the water filter. The big gold purifier takes time to fill. So, the one way valve will keep it full when yong heng is stoped to rest and cooled and bled out of air every time it reaches 45C. That way, only the black water filter will bleed in order to restart yong heng with zero pressure. I learned all these from this forum. I am still learning to keep it safer. Thank you everyone!

LMNOP,

I don’t notice any condensation at the bleed valve from the fill adopter to bleed the big gold purifier. The big gold has 3 types of purifier and the charcoal that will filter the air before the 2 types desiccant is dry every after fill of about 150 bar. But i do regularly bleed the yongheng valve for condensation without bleeding the big gold because of the oneway valve.

My only suggestion would be to add another gold filter filled with a fiber media. This gets as much water out of the air as possible before the purification stage. Here's the one I made close to a year ago:

https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/yet-another-yong-heng-filter-setup/

The only change I have made to it since April 2019 is replacement of the straight up connection on the top purification filter to a right angle. This prevents bending the hoses too much while filling. My bottom filter has a drain. This proved to be useless. I never got any water out of it. However, water vapor is passing by it. The water just doesn't condense there.

My setup has a check valve is built into the inlet foster fitting. This makes things pretty simple for me. I pressurize the filter with theoretically dry air from the tank and then turn on the pump and close the bleeder valves.

Back to the fiber filter first stage. This stage was added out of paranoia. Getting water in my tanks really bothered me. I am glad it was added. My procedure for running my setup is run for twenty minutes at a time and open the bleeders every five minutes. Even with doing the bleeding my small Yong Heng filter is soaked after two runs. My first stage gold filter gets soaked to maybe 1/3 to 1/2 way up. I usually topoff two tanks every fill session and remove the Yong Heng filter and the first stage gold filter media afterward. I let them dry out over weeks and reuse them again until they start to show any wear or get too dirty.

Joer, thank you for the added knowledge. Without this forum, I will never go into pcp because i have little knowledge about air pressure.
My tank is just 3L diving tank. I can satisfy my itch in firing the gun before it gets under 200bar. One filter is enough. The charcoal portion of the filter (first in line) never gets soaked provided i bleed the Yong Heng every 3-5 minutes.
Definitely, i will adjust the bending lines.

i am thinking of placing a one way valve to prevent the air tank from continuous bursting air in case of loose or disconnected line. Suggestion is appreciated.

Pressurizing the big gold filter with dry air from the tank before turning the pump works great keeping the water within the black water filter and the YH bleeder. Thank you for this advice.
