Seneca 2500 airgun

I was just doing some looking around at different air rifles because I am basically new to them, and new to this sight.

I just looked at the Seneca 2500 in 25 caliber. The power on this thing seems to be incredible. I mean the energy on this this, as they are reporting is over 75FPE in most cases.

So why do you not hear more about this rifle? I am actually thinking about giving it a try because it has open sights, is quite powerful, and the price is less than half that I just spent for my FX Crown. The reviews look quite good also..

Your responces on this is greatly appreciated...
 
I have a .25 Sumatra and it's a beast. It's a great hunting gun. It shoots the 33.5 NSA very accurately. The only problem I have with this gun are the mags. The mags compress the skirts of the pellets to much and they dont hold the NSA slugs. If you single load the 34 grain JSB pellets, the Sumatra shoots them good but if you shoot them out of the mag, the pellets are all over the place

Hey wyshadow

I have not yet fired slugs out of my Sumatra 25 long rifle.

However I follow lots of threads about the gun

Among them, in this & other forums, are threads discussing slugs made by smaller businesses

It might pay to search to find options for yourself
