In year 2000 it bought 2 semi-truck mud flaps. I hung them in a box with funnel bottom. All pellets fall into a cup. Today I replaced the first truck flap. It took 18 years to wear thru the first flap. All shots were 20 ft/lpd or less.
Rubber mulch in a simple box is my second favorite.
My club in Wisconsin uses electrical putty and it is also excellent. We do have to replace once in a while BUT ther are aloft of guys shooting these clay boxes.
The bottom line.......shoot hanging rags and/or anything that can handle hits for a self cleaning trap.
