Seems of late used af guns have been selling fast...

I still have my condor ss 25 and it's been a great gun to own over the yrs. It really is low maintenance and ever sense I removed the auto safety pin it's been even better . Yup it's not regulated and single shot but with the talon tunes adjustable stem it's pretty consistent. The single shot can be annoying but to be honest I never seen a squirrel need a follow up shot or even a 15 lb ground hogs ......maybe af will offer slug barrels soon .

I just purchased a talonp from airgun depot. Comes with the carbine stock and LDC already for 589.99. I also ordered the ring loc kit to have greater control of velocity and ES.

I purchased it to accompany my .25 Raptor that I hope to be receiving by Christmas. The talonp will be my Hunting gun here at home when opportunity arises. The Raptor will be my hunting gun to take on trips.

I believe for the money the talonp is the ultimate hunting tool for 50 yards and in. Easy 40-50 fpe and compact. Lothar Walther barrels.

also I think a lot of guys just appreciate the raw power of Airforce guns. And not having to spend $1000 plus to get it, (unless going big bore for the Texan).

A pic of the badboy ....I would hate to be the pest looking down the barrel of this guy and next week its getting a new swfa 10x42 that I grabbed for $199 on black friday .

I have a .25 Talondor that I bought used. When I got it it was set up for slugs and was doing about 50 FPE. I regulated it, turned it down to 36 fpe and it absolutely STONES squirrels. One shot, dead right there. Groundhogs same deal. I could easily get another 10 fpe out of it, but what is the point? With the integral moderator it just makes a "ting" sound when I shoot it. If you were ten feet from it, you would need to be paying attention to hear it. The 12" barrel wastes a little air but I get about 30 shots with about 3 ft/sec spread, so I'll live with it. I'm going to buy it a compressor for Christmas.

In my opinion airforce fills a niche that no other company fulfills. Max power and shot count at the cost of multishot capability. Mine wieghs 6lbs or so and makes almost 200 fpe with 25 cal slugs. Come on guys who else makes that power? Then ask who makes that power and stays under 7lbs. NOBODY THAT'S WHO! I I love my condor

hugh? 200FPE? is the gun stock? thats incredible

I was wondering the same thing. My 257 texan is o ly putting out 180 ft-lbs and I could get a little more but the gun starts losing accuracy, shot count, and wasted air.

Very nice. When you say its waiting air, how is air being wasted? How did you tune it down to 36fpe? Is that 36fpe with 0 on powerwheel?

16" barrel on my TalonP just added TT adjustable tophat 20fpe to 72fpe of adjustable power.

Been using in the yard with polymags 680fps for 26fpe. With the quiet hammer it's not noticeable until pellet hits the fur and makes a audible pop.

Haven't tested the heavy NSA slugs 44 & 55 yet, if it stops raining today, I'll be able to see what what happens, but should take that 72fpe up a bit higher.

This thread addresses all the things done to bring the rifle to where it is today.

Basically it is wasting air because it sports a 12" barrel. After I get the compressor I will probably install the .20 LW barrel I have for it (also 12") and I expect it will become a very fine 75 yard squirrel rifle shooting around 25/30 fpe with about 60/70 shots in a very flat string. It will no longer waste air at higher velocities because the smaller bore will handle what the regulator can generate more efficiently.

It is all discussed in the thread linked.
