It seems that none of the people "in the know" are ready to share anything on this but in any case you should go ahead with your scope purchase because in my opinion it makes all the sense in the world for Fx to be making an add on accessory that can be attached to most scopes instead of a scope with built in features. They can make a lot more sales that way. Also building an opto electronic futuristic scope may be too complex/ costly of a job for them.

Anticant within the scope is already made by sig sauer on their tango6 scope line. However, im sure they can accomplish the same differently.

I did a quick search and the least expensive Tango6 scope I saw was $999.00.  I think that there is a market for a more "budget friendly" scope with some sort of anti-cant.  I think Grin_Reaver is on the right track.  An after market product for most scopes would be the way to go.

I struggle to see how anti- cant would get someone like Ted so excited. Doesn't seem to be struggling with a bubble level. I sort of hope it's something properly game changing or awesome. Lol, sort of like how it was with kids and iPods back when they came out:

Nobody knows about ipods -> apple releases iPod ->  everyone realises that they might die if they don't have an iPod ?

Have you ever seen Ted NOT excited about something from FX?

Something awesome would be…… well awesome!

I’m just taking a stab in the dark here but if you watch Matt’s new video about the rocky mountain airgun challenge he has a scopecam that I haven’t seen before. It looked like a GoPro setup that mounted to the scope kind of like a side shot would clamp to the scope tube. It looked kind of like a side shot and rusbear scope mount had a kid.

I could be wrong and what he had is common but just something I haven’t seen before. I do know he pushes fx a lot so it may be their new accessory.

Rusbear sent him a camera recently so I thought that was it? Just turned to the side instead of having the camera up top. Can't say for sure though – I'd have to check that gear video he made and compare.

No it wasn’t his same rusbear setup, but it could possible be a new design from him. Time will tell. Hopefully it’s a good and affordable scope setup though. We need one of those.

I guess we have our answer after about 8 months. Turns out it is not even a scope accessory but a convenient(?) chronograph. Who else is feeling underwhelmed😶

Maybe they have something else in store as well.

I want to say I saw something a while back that was a very low profile range finder that clamped on to the bell of your scope. Much sleeker than the top mounting ones with digital read out.

The cant-indicating reticle light is already patented and is on the market..

    Works really nice!

I don’t get this hype for Discovery scopes specially in US – country known of great optics brands.
