Yeah there are just so many choices compared to 15 years ago when I bought my first Bushnell.

I think I'm leaning toward the Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 4-20x50 APRS6 FFP IR MIL.
Very wise choice! A couple guys on snipershide forum love theirs.
I love my Helos G2 2-12x42 as well. It's made like a $1000+ scope IMO, very high quality for the price. And reticles don't get much better than the APRS6.

I just slapped this one onto a gun. My strelok pro doesn't seem to have its reticle (?) ((

I primarily plink within 50 yards and pest hunt to about 40 yards. The Element Helix and Aztec Emerald have nice ladder style reticles that work great for me. I prefer hold over to dialing so those reticles work great. I keep a dope card and rangefinder hanging on my neck.

I am not a fan of the “Christmas tree“ style reticle which is why I kept passing on Arken… but the new Arken EPL4 series is more the style I do prefer, so when those came out I bought a couple.

Hawke AMX, including my pcp. It would be nice if Hawke offered this reticle with their other models. I don't need a spring rated scope on my pcp BUT I want that reticle in all my scopes. So that's what I get. I did win an Aztec scope 3-18X50 on a FX Dream Classic. It's a simple enough mil-dot that has worked out very well.
