Is it just me or does it seem that every time I watch a video of our Airgunner friends over in jolly old England the scopes they have on their guns look like they cost more then I spend on the rifle itself ? Yeah its probably just me.

That’s actually not uncommon here in the PB world either, at sub 12fpe the brits need to be more accurate and there fore the need for better glass is higher.

How does that even happen was there a lot of people being killed with over 12fpe rifles over there? Good old USA!! Nice Scopes though.

12 ft lb was an arbitrary figure plucked out of thin air when the firearms laws were formulated. Over 12 ft lb is a firearm.
All it means is that we have to have to obtain permission to shoot on suitable land for a firearm, get vetted by the police, fit a home office aproved gun cabinet in an aproved way, pay a fee annually and be subject to possible random inspections.
