Your other option very similar is the Discovery VT3 3-12x44 FFP and the illuminated HD version of that Discovery scope.

SOME of the Discovery scopes are actually OK ITS A YES FROM ME! while others gets a big thumbs down like the 34mm HD 5-30x56 terrible rubbish! That's a NO FROM ME!

here's my Scope Specs Lists for SHORT scopes (and 3-9x/ 3-12x scopes).

They're all sub-$500, most are around $200.

They all have 10 yard side parallax.

They all have exposed turrets.

They all have holdoff reticles.



Note: If you choose an FFP, you might want to make sure that the reticle has thick outside posts that will guide your eye toward the crosshair intersection -- when at low magnification. Because with the FFP the reticle lines get pretty small and thin, and in front of a busy background and a quick shot on a stalk you might not see that intersection....

The Specs Table indicates which FFP scopes have those thick outside posts.

SFP reticle is a lot easier to see on low magnification than FFP and cheaper too.
