I'm looking at buying a Weihrauch HW97K .177 spring piston air rifle. I've been considering buying a Weihrauch 3-9x40-P Rifle Scope for it. They run around $235. Does anyone have any experience with these scopes? Are they any good?
Also, can anyone recommend any alternative scopes in the $250 price range or less that are decent and that are rated for use on spring piston airguns? I'm not in love with the Weihrauch scope. I'm just having a lot of trouble finding a scope that's rated for use on spring piston airguns. It's hard to tell what is and what isn't rated for them.
I'm planning to use the rifle mostly for picking off rabbits, chip monks, prairie dogs, etc., as well as a little informal target practice.
Any help or advice about finding a scope for the HW97K would be *greatly* appreciated!
