Scope question for Springers

You put the scope on yer gun and shoot it 1000 rounds. Springer rated scope failures happen all to often. I had six scope destroyed by my Diana 45 and 52 rifles. Included were UTG, Hawke, and Falcon scopes all damaged promptly after the install on my springers. Picked up on a Diana Bullseye mount and had no further failures even after a thousand rounds plus. Some complain about slop in the scope but I found none in either of the units I purchased. If one does get one with said play there is a fix for it. Included in the links is my post with pics of my groups with the mount installed and a couple more with droop compensation but without the recoil dampening feature. I highly recommend the Bullseye mount if you want to help keep yer scopes in good werqing condition.

I have the RWS lockdown on it now. And I don’t want to invest in another $400 scope. I have a Hawke on a Diana 34 and on a PCP. Also have an AIMS waiting to be mounted on my Avenger if it ever gets here. Plus a Centerpoint on an Akela. I’ll try the Centerpoint on the RWS 34 and see how it goes. It does have a lifetime warranty.

Humner57. Best $50 you can spend. This cheap cvlife mounted is Rws lockdown rings on scope eating Rws 34 .177. more then 5 tins of jsb 8.4 down range. Zero on 16x and use holdover. They are sold under different names. Not bad tracking. Joe Rhea gave it a shout-out for a cheap scope.

I’m following too. Looks like good advice so far. I have had good luck with the cheap centerpoint scopes for what it’s worth. They’re obviously not high end but it’s a sight picture with mildots and decent magnification. I’ve had them on CO2 guns mostly, only springer was my old accu before I slightly upgraded to a budget BSA scope. I’m going to get slammed for this comment but SOMETIMES I like the cheap ones because they don’t seem to have bad parallax issues and you can get a quick sight picture.
