If your scope has side focus, install a side wheel with distance markings on it. While it won't be as precise as a stand alone range finder, it should be accurate enough at various distances for you to hit your target

Yes side wheel ranging will work on ffp scope. You will have to put some work into it but if you measure your range and shoot at targets of a known distance you can mark your wheel to be pretty accurate with side focus scope.

Yeah, parallax ranging using a parallax/ side focus wheel, works pretty well — just ask the field target shooters.



However, beyond say 40 yards it requires a large objective lens and a high magnification to induce suficient image un-sharpness that you then can dial out with the parallax wheel, giving you the range to target.

And beyond 50 or 60y this method gets increasingly imprecise that you'll start missing.



The useful range to use parallax ranging gets further reduced if your particular power/pellet combination has a fairly loopy trajectory.

Making your trajectory flatter goes a long way in increasing your point blank range (where you don't have to adjust the elevation)....

Yes Amazon and eBay LE-032. I had one for six months and it quit working. When it worked it was good for at night use. In the day light it didn't have enough power to range in broad daylight past 200 yards reliable. I'm going to buy another one because there are not any other options now.

For and night vision devices a rangefinder add on is $300 to $700.00. So there isn't really anything else out there to buy now. I bought a warranty and will keep the old one for parts

JungleShooter; I'm the one who has it listed on Airgun Warriors it works fine I just decided I didn't need it for my shooting and at $100 I'm losing about $70 but I'd like to see someone get some use out of it instead of it sitting on my shelf.

Thanks it's a pretty neat little rig hopefully someone will need or want to try it out, I had thought to use it on my Texan for deer hunting but I mostly hunt in the timber so a 100 yard shot is long and shooting the 196gr NSA HP slug at 980fps is really flat shooting.

I saw this but have no experience on it, but do know there is can side mount of the rail as well...

Yes had one failed after few months use. Works well at night with digital night vision.

and Wilcox makes the Raptor its bad ass but expensive
