Scope & Mount Review For My FWS 300 S Universal

Below are some pics of a Hawke Airmax 2-7 x 32 AO scope using BKL-253-MB off-set mounts on my FWB 300.

I can't say enough about this set-up. The Hawke scope has crystal clear glass, short enough to give anyone plenty of room at the loading port, love the AMX reticle, focus down to 7.5 yards, ( which is good for pest control off the bird feeder, lol ) and all functions work smoothly.

Using the BKL-253-MB off-set mounts sets the scope back far enough to completely clear the loading port and gives me plenty of adjustment for proper eye relief.

I give this scope and mounts a 5 star rating with an A+ set-up rating.

"JoeWayneRhea"Beautiful rig Frank ! And a very nice review .That's a gorgeous rifle . And the scope looks really nice on it . I'm like you a fan of the 2-7 . Can't wait to see what it'll do now that you got her up and rolling
Thanks Joe.You really got me hooked on these 300 springers and I'm glad you did. Enjoy ALL your videos, very informative and I've learned a lot from them.

"Erik"The scope looks very close to the eye?
Not really. It focuses perfect and immediate when I bring it to my shoulder . If you notice, there is plenty of forward adjustment left on the dovetails should someone require different eye relief.
Yea I was thinking that myself. on mine I have it way more forward. well its a longer scope, that does cover the port a bit :(
