What discovery scopes focus under 10 yd?

I have a new VT-R 4-16x42mm that was sent to me by Discovery for a warranty replacement. My old VT-R of the same model focused down to 10 yards. The new version they sent me has a 5-yard hash-mark, and the hard-stop for the focus is right at about 6 yards. Their website does not reflect the updates that they are putting into some of their scopes, but I would suspect that the VT-Z and several other models are moving in the same direction. Best way to find out is to email their sales/support and inquire on the latest and greatest from them.

I second the swfa motion. I love my 3-15. My Vaughan hammer also focuses that close and costs much less. Or perhaps some open sights. I love peep sights.

A third recommendation as well for the SWFA 3-15×42 FFP scope. They're available in MOA or MIL reticles. They normally a $700 scope but wait for the sales. You can get them around $500. They also have a SFP model but I'm not sure of the cost.

I have both the new bugbuster and swfa - wouldn't think they are comparable - the swfa is about 2x the size of the bugbuster (& multiple times the cost)!

The hawke has mag to x7, the new bugbuster with SF to x12 so not the best alternative if you like the extra mag.

At a slightly higher price point ($229), if you don't mind chinese scopes, I think this would be a decent alternative to the bugbuster & focuses down to 10 yards apparently - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Vector-Optics-Veyron-FFP-3-12x44-Ultra-Compact-Air-Gun-Riflescope-Scope-First-Focal-Plane-223/33001144902.html
