Scope Center Height: FX Crown With 30mm FX No Limit Rings?

If you want an accurate measurement in order to use applications like Chairgun (and possibly other ballistic programs) and shoot with precision, use this method:

I even did some experimentation on it over a couple of years ago and shared my findings:

I agree with Spinj, especially since you are using FX No-Limit mounts!

The moment you start adjusting them, nobody will be able to answer that question, because the "scope height" variable used by chairgun changes every time you make an adjustment on the mounts. Depending on how far apart they are, that 1/16" might scale to 1/4" and the 3" height becomes 2.75" and if you play with the different values in chairgun you can see the difference is significant.

You could also use chairgun to give you an idea of how much to adjust, I have not tried it because I have no method of measuring the distance, would digital calipers work for this or maybe a feeler gauge? I manually adjusted them/tested/then adjusted until they did what I wanted.

In chairgun, go to toolbox, calculate & calibrate, scope mount shims. It applies to adjustable mounts as well.
