Scope cam vs ATN

Can anyone please direct me to or help me with a comparison between using the newest HD pro ATN camera scope vs using a side shot scope cam?

I would like to record shots, obviously night vision is a plus but not mandatory.

My questions:

How does side shot video compare to ATN hd pro?

What do you prefer and why?

Apologies if this has been exhausted. Please direct me to the answers if they are already posted.

The daytime quality with side Shot Gopro 7 is higher quality than ATN. With the GoPro 7 I can shoot at 4K, 2.7k,1080 and720. Slow motion is only in 1080 and 720. I have never tried it at night as I don’t have the appropriate lens however Hajimoto has a night setup perhaps he will chime in. That said if your satisfied and happy with the quality of the ATN I think it’s less complicated to use.

Scope cam can be removed when not needed/wanted. Scope cam does not require battery charge to be able to shoot.

The ATN is a video screen, so no battery = no vision through the machine...so no more shooting until ya have more electrons to use. The ATN has great video, for sure, and I would not mind having one.

My meager funds went with a side shot after a failed experience with an "end shot" camera mount. I absolutely do not recommend those.

Get the one that will fit your needs and post up some video. We will watch 😀
