SCBA to din300 for daystate 110

I'm a newbie. Bought an SCBA tank and a stikboy fill system (which ends with a female foster fitting to fill my new/used marauder). Scuba/paintball/firehouse/nitrogen alternatives don't look like they will work so after much reading here will bite the 'bullet' (if I can afford any afterward) and get the daystate 110. This will come with a din300 fill hose. Do I just need to purchase a din300 to male foster adapter (PA has a AV-00044M [PY-A-5358] that looks like it might work for $40) to attach to my tank fill hose?

My hope is to get the compressor and start using it and then dip my toe into all of those mods that Humdinger and Centercut have laid out. I assume operating without the additional air filter for a month or so is not 'ruining' anything (Montana, pretty dry air). If any usage without a secondary water filter is a bad idea, I would probably need to spring for the turnkey/high priced filter if I really want to get going.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Slowboat, I posted awhile ago that you can remove the DIN300 connector from your fill hose with a pair of metric wrenches or crescent wrenches. There is an adapter you can buy that is male 7/16" JIC to male 1/8 NPT. The adapter costs $1.58 from Grainger or you can look for another supplier. In your situation you would connect the adapter to a female threaded 1/8"NPT male foster instead of a female quick connect as in the thread. It's much less cumbersome weight-wise and much cheaper than a $40 adapter from Pyramyd. Here's the link to my original post.

There is no need to overspend for a high pressure filter. The Tuxing gold filter is in the thread about plumbing and high pressure filter for the Daystate LC-110.. Tuxing makes an excellent filter housing which can be purchased through Aliexpress for $76 and is shipped from California to your door in a week or less. It contains a repackable cartridge which will allow you to save the $40 replacement cartridge cost that some dealers charge. The Tuxing gold filter and cartridge works just as well as any $400 high pressure filter.
