Scammer Problems

I had asked for a picture with todays date written on a piece of paper along side the rifle and the scammer sent a crappy looking photo shop job --- I was thinking , if these scammers have some computer skills , they could certainly fool you with a good photo shop job - todays newspaper / pencil thru the trigger guard , etc ---- it all depends upon their computer skills -- phone conversation with proper exploratory questions is best protection ----- mark

Never, never send money by PayPal gifting. PayPal will not provide any financial guarantees or reimbursement if you "gift" someone. You should only you use PayPal gifting if you actually know the individual face to face, i.e. family, longtime friends, and associates.
If you use PayPal always use the regular method of payment that way PayPal will guarantee you financially. Better yet, both parties involved should be PayPal verified.
Scammers always seem to want you to use the gifting option or Postal Money Order. Even the Post Office won't necessarily back you financially if you are using a PMO to make payment to an individual. They'll go after a business but not necessarily an individual.
