Just got home and opened the box from Edgun West. I asked Brian to send me one with nice wood and he didn’t disappoint me. Absolutely beautiful gun. Now if it shoots as nice as it looks, I’ve found my new best best gun. I also ordered a Huma regulator to try with the gun, but first I’m going to try out the stock regulator to compare the two. Scope you see mounted on the gun is a Burris XTR II, 8-40X50mm.

Congrats Chris, those Edguns look rock solid. Fit, finish and the way the lines come together are first class. I bet it’ll be a shooter, keep us posted.

As of right now, any R5 in the US is a .30 single shot limited edition. In Russia and maybe other areas, the R5 is available in .25.

The R5M’s, that are yet to be released, from what I’ve read, will be available in .177, .22 & .25 Standard and Long.

Sweet pup! Love how short it is for a .30. Could this possibly be the shortest .30 bullpup out there?

I sighted the R5 in at 50 yards, then shot a full air tube worth of pellets, which was 35, 44.75 gr JSBs, at 73 yards. Not to bad for being just out of the box and doing no tuning yet. I had a couple of flyers but I’m happy so far.

Just got word from Brian that my R5 Long in .25 has arrived and will be shipping.I believe that there was 5 R5’s in .25 that Brian had ordered. Im glad to see that the R5m will be available in .177 too,,,,,I’ve never heard of a Edgun in .177.
