So tomorrow I am down the range all day .. At last ! I have to make sure my HFT set up is bang on . So I have to clean the barrel , make sure she is bang on over the chrono and zero the turrets in readiness for the Worlds in Poland in two weeks . Once that's done its play time , Out with the Red Wolf .. AT LAST ... I am checking zero with the 25's and also seeing what the 34's do over the chrono ... Then its Slug time ... I have been waiting for what seems forever to try them . Tomorrow is a proper test of them . My buddy Mark has upped the power of the Red Wolf , I am running 25 RD's at average 974 fps so I wonder what the VK 26 grain will do through the ART barrel ? The 25 are stupid accurate to say the least , I am sure the VK will do the same thing. So I wonder what the 34's will be running at ? I would like to see a decent increase in their speed ... All being well . 

I love Range Day's , the down side being that it ruins my 12 ft/lb shooting big time . They are totally different things as you all know . I will be chucking some pics up on my Instagram so check it out , I might actually do a vlog too , have a look and see what you think ?

Well that went really well , The TM was bang on and worked a treat , the aim points were prefect and did what they do . Chuffed to bits It was stupid windy today for shooting outside , I did though as I wanted to see what was what , 2.5 mill dots at its worst at 40 yards . So HFT stuff done and its on to the Red Wolf and pellets and slugs stuff. So pellets to star with , 25 RD's and surprisr surprise they were amazing and worked a treat . 974 feet per second and that was proper accurate , So on to the 34's and a quick go over the chrono and that was 832 fps and seemed to work really rather well . So far so good . On to the slugs , I can't tell you how much I have been looking forward to shooting these . I have had them for a while now and not had a chance to test them through the ART Red Wolf ... To say that I was excited was a massive understatement .. So first things first , Chrono time and they came out 910 fps which I thought would be about right ... ish . So on to paper and this is where it went wrong sadly , The groups at 50 yards were nothing to shout about for sure . I have watched and read and chatted to everyone to do with slugs and I am told that they do not group as well as slugs ... which I get of course ... but these did not work last all , So at 50 yards I was getting maybe two slugs through the same hole and the next one would go 2 mills to the right , the next a mill and an half low , there was nothing saying it was getting any better . I cleaned the barrel again just to make sure , I really hoped that this would change things , Nothing . It seems that they dont group in my gun . Gutted ! I so so so wanted them to work , My buddy had a selection of different weights and the only ones that got near it was the 21 Grain DB-HP ad they were about an inch and a bit at 50 yards . Anyway , things are afoot to get this sorted , I have chatted to Daystate today about a couple of ideas and I reckon we might be sorted int he very near future .. I hope .

Thanks ever so much for that , Well after my shooting today in Cambridge .. I have a bunch more work to do ! The TM 1000 is off the charts good for HFT and I can't wait to get out there and Win ... As British Captain I need to get my Team working 100% , most of them are shooting really well .. Its only me that shot like a Loon today 😵. Roll on the last comp before we fly out . I cant wait !!!
