Safe to dispose of this bottle?

I'm bringing my own thread back from the dead.

I was hiking today and had to turn around about 1.5 miles in due to rain. I don't mind some rain but there was small hail mixed in and my dog was stressed. As I was driving home the weather cleared and I decided to take a forest service road that passes close to where this bottle has been sitting since I posted this thread and apparently since well before based on the condition.

Another ~2/3 mile of hiking was welcomed by both myself and my dog.

Removed the gauge and the foster fitting. Believe I have read previously that pressure vessels must have a hole drilled in them before going to the scrap yard so I did that as well. Not sure if my local yard will even take it.
