RWS 54/56 22cal owners

Minute of soda can at 200 yards with OLD brown box 14.3gr Crosman Premiers and OLD 14.3gr Crosman Copperhead pointed. The current 14.3gr pointed Crosman in the 175 count tins are the current versions.

One of my newer 54s shoots 18.1gr AA almost as good at 200 yards.

I had old chrony notes but they were never recovered after I lost that house.

I have recently shot mine for the first time in a while. I went down the PCP rabbit hole and am now rediscovering my springers. Using a FX chrony it shot a JSB RS 13.43g pellet @ 837 FPS. I shot a 1/2 inch 5 shot group at 25 yds. The 54 is very capable of better groups. I was shooting sub inch groups at 50 yds with JSB Jumbo 18.1g pellets the time I shot it before. Like I said it’s more capable, and I really need to spend more time with it to find the magic pellet.

Another note-

The gins 54s and 56s seemed most accurate at the longest distances with the Leupold EFR 6.5-20x40 with custom shop reticle and Weaver V16 with ABO Inc USA (RIP Shin Saiga) Custom Mildot reticle and V24 Mildot (HUGE! Mildots!). Guessing the lighter scope weights on the sledge mechanism IMHO.

Tried the OLD 24 oz Burris Signature Rimfire Airgun 8-32x44AO with custom factory Mildot reticle installed broke in 3 shots so did a lot of other brands of scopes tried back them but now I know better. Bought Vortex but currently have reservations on Vortex QC on their $999 and under scopes.

Now I am upset with myself brother because I traded a while ago a 10 of 18 grain AA pellets because they were no good out of my 54. This is pre White fang tune
