RWS 48/52 Trigger identification

Hi guys,
I bought a used RWS 48/52. Another member (Wadcutter) helped me to identify the date the rifle was made. 11/91. When ordering a tune kit they list certain kits for certain triggers. Does anyone know how to Identify which trigger this rifle might have ?
If the safety looks like a piece of curled steel it's a T01. I have no idea why the type of trigger would change the tune kit, shouldn't matter.

The To1 uses a different length spring than the To5 and To6. I have a 48 with the To1 trigger and couldn't use the top hat. With the top hat it won't cock.🤬
I'm not sure about this. Seems like if this was the case ARH and Vortek would offer kits based on model and trigger type, they do not ever mention trigger type. I know the piston is different but I do not think the spring is. Can you tell me where you saw that, I'm curious now?

I know I’ve seen Hector talk about it elsewhere. Will see if I can track it down. And ARH does mention it. Look at his tune kits and he says he now has them for the TO1 guns and you need to specify which.

Funny ARH has two kits for the 48 and the expensive one has an option for which trigger, the other doesn't. Vortek says the 48 kit works with old and new triggers, no option to select trigger.

ARH does, vortec doesn't and the vortex is the kit I installed.

I'm guessing based on what I'm seeing, the T01 spring is a little shorter and it would work in a T06 but not the other way around. Assuming Vortek uses a spring sized for a T01 so it will work in a T06 also. I don't own a 48 but am always wanting to learn. I have a couple of D34's and I can't remember a kit dependant on trigger for that gun that's why I was surprised.

Believe me I was surprised also. I was pretty 🤬 for a long time after I found out.
