Diana (34), oh how easy thou art!

My 1st good air rifle was a .177 RWS 34.

And this is one air rifle I will NEVER part with! Since owning this 34 I've had:

RWS 48 (sold)
Air Arms s510 (sold)
Hatsan 135 (sold)
RWS 350
RWS 48 (yes, i regretted selling the 1st one)

And a few other pumpers that came and went as well.

The beauty of the 34, which by the way has a vortek PG2 kit and produces only 12 fpe, is just how easy it is to shoot accurately. I've had a few higher-powered springers and a really nice PCP. And I can say that this 34 is *almost* PCP-like in how easy it is to shoot!

Check out these two targets below. I have not shot this rifle in MONTHS, and to pick it up and get two 10-shot groups @ 30-yards like this just put a huge smile on my face! BTW, the pellets are Air Arms 10.3s.

And for reference here is the full target with some (poor) groups from my 48:

I have a Model 36 (Germany 06 98) which is the same gun with a longer barrel and a bit fancier stock. Out of the box stock she is the most accurate hunting class springer I have ever owned. Really likes H&N FTTs. She took the opportunity to remind me that I should always check the stock screws before benching a rifle today. Maybe tomorrow I can get one of those bench rest targets shot well enough to show it off in Joe's thread. :) I have rendered many a squirrel into gumbo thanks to that rifle.
