"Run & Gun" Tactical Style Target Shooting with the FX Impact

"poorshot"Hey I really enjoyed that!
I can see you are working up a nice walking/shooting trail with the bridge etc.
Looks like it's going to be pretty slick.
What kind of range does the sight you were using suit?

It's just an illuminated dot with multiple reticles, no magnification. So it depends how good your eyes are & how accurate you need to be. I was shooting the balloons at 20 - 40 yards. I'll do a short video review sometime.

"CHUCK"Hello Michael,
I really loved your "Run & Gun" video... You illustrate the reason we all love shooting our airguns so much, because you look like a young kid running around shooting a BB gun and having fun! Your other videos are very informative and concise without being overly drawn out...you have a good way of staying on point. I think the thing I like about your videos the most is your great joy and enthusiasm. You are definitely the kind of guy to run an airgun forum. We all need to remember once in awhile that we are doing this to have FUN! :) Thank you for all the hard work you put into sharing so much with us all.
Best regards,
Chuck
Thanks Chuck

I'm not afraid to admit that my first few videos were pretty monotonic (someone even referred to me as a robot). But I do feel like I've gotten a bit more comfortable. It's a lot easier to do when your having fun!

Very nice video Michael!
I like the Go-Pro camera mount.

What I am doing is not quite as neat as what you did (and I dont have nearly the awesome scenery!).

I set up a shooting lane, with three targets at 30yrds. The shooting line is my start/stop. Then I run a mile. Come back to the shooting line, stop my stop watch, pick up my M-Rod and take 5 shots at the first target from the off hand. Start the stop watch again, run another mile back to the shooting line, stop the stopwatch, take the next 5 shots at the second target, etc.
Basically a summer biathlon.

I dont have the neat video equipment or expertises to make a video anywhere near as cool as your video!

FearnLoadingExcellent video Michael. Better than any First Person Shooter game I've played. :) Put a few zombies in there and voila we have Duke Nukem 3D. :) :)

Thanks. In hindsight I should've used some darker color balloons in the sunny spots (maybe blue) & the pink balloons only in the shady spots. Red wasn't an option bcuz the reticle/dot is red.

I went thru the entire bag of 72 balloons during range prep, trial run, & actual run.
