My other hobby is photography; specifically with Nikon. There are always rumours being reported about the latest, and greatest Nikon cameras, lenses, and accessories that are due out, each year. For example-

https://nikonrumors.com/

There are even rumours for centerfire rifles, and pistols, at the current SHOT show-

However, I cannot find any websites, or links with rumours about major releases of air pistols/rifles for the upcoming year. If you have said links, would you kindly post them in response to this thread? Alternatively, if you know of something real that is upcoming, perhaps add that?

Not at all. What I am saying is that there are rumours about new Nikon products months, or even years before they come out. There are often rumours about new centerfire rifles and pistols, and other gear, months before they come out. Same goes for rifle scopes, etc.

However, I have found it difficult to find any rumours about new air rifles and pistols, in 2019. Generally, rumours build demand. If there are rumours out there, about new products coming this year, I would be interested in reading about them. Perhaps air rifle and pistol makers do not want to build demand, and assume someone will buy whatever they make?

Not a rumor, but Umarex posted this as what they'll have for Shot Show Range Day;

"Umarex Airguns is the creator of the innovative .50 caliber hunting air rifle aptly named the Umarex Hammer as well as the ever popular Umarex Gauntlet. These two rifles combined with the new Umarex Synergis under lever repeating rifle and the new Ruger® 10/22® Air Rifle are reinvigorating the pellet rifle market. Umarex is also the “King of Replicas” offering replica air-powered handguns."

Hopefully the last year was well spent de-bugging the Hammer. Also interested in the underlever repeater, maybe an updated BSA Goldstar? And they are also supposed to be coming out with a new Co2 rifle at the Show.

Haven't heard much yet from anyone else.

I think part of the problem with rumors in this industry is that all the companies, combined with social media, are grubbing so hard for attention it has become acceptable to advertise products which are not even close to ready for production let alone delivery. As a result, a "rumor" is less that someone is working on an idea, and more that "this product might actually be delivered only a year late." While that was meant as a direct shot across Umarex's bow, they're hardly the only offender. Look at Evanix. They're advertising some very tasty looking guns which they only have digital renderings of, all to try and generate hype around their brand. And so it goes. *shrug*
