I smacked this one in the head at about 30 yards and it made a mess and it took me awhile to find it it was really only about seven feet away but they're so well camouflaged.

My usual woodcutting and ground squirrel hunting trip. There is another bloody area with some gray matter and bits in it and the squirrel was a few feet away from that I only hit it with 908 feet per second and a 16 grain jsb

Thank you guys I havld a good laugh from all of your comments and I actually did wonder about whether or not they would notice that wood.

It's 84 Acres and a lot of things going on there so I don't think they'll ever notice it or attribute it to me

Regardless I know the landowner is happy because I have shot 32 to 40 ground squirrels there and seriously knocked down the population.

Got it. I knew the compact doesn't have a plenum that's why i was wondering. I'm having a hard time deciding between the Kalibr tactical, ppc or the uragan compact. I'm not really big into slugs but it would be nice to have an option, i think slugs will do good out of the uragan but not sure of the other two. I'm gonna go with .22 as my talonp and kral empire x are in .25 plus the higher shot count in .22 is nice. I just want something compact that can hit paper at 100 yards once in a while! the rest of the time will be hunting small game and plinking!

I've seen a lot of his videos regarding the RTI stuff. The Kalibr is so new there's nothing out about the compact. I like the 300 bar fills on the guns. It would be cool to be able to put bigger bottles if they would without mods and without looking too bulky. Is your PPC quiet enough for the backyard? My TalonP and the empire are too loud even with a moderator!

I am not sure what constitutes "quiet enough' for your situation but in my case I have neighbors all-around and it sounds like a stapler gun with baffles and a 0dB. Even without baffles or 0dB it's not that loud for hunting purposes.

With this PPC I am getting 70+ (?) shots, haven't actually counted but I shoot for what seems like forever, and no point in defeating the 'Compact' with a bigger bottle. The gun's purpose is well thought out and executed.

Two things have been done to this gun:
1) Added baffles, because I COULD.
2) Dropped the regulator from 150bar to a squiggle over 130bar.

Shooting 16gr JSB / FX / Air Arms at 920ish.
