Maddog, that butt pad is a Pachmayr butt pad, I just drilled the necessary holes and used longer screws to attach.

Think this will make a nice bag rider for the RTI View attachment 188823
I looked at the same item, but decided to take a more conservative option and went with black.

It came with three plastic adapters. I used the smallest one and dug through my tool box and found a box of 1/4 countersunk screws that fit the butt plate perfectly. Then rummaged through my photography goodies and used a 3/8 to 1/4 tripod adapter bushing to make it all fit.

Looked good and is functional.

Not being one to leave well enough alone, I thought, what if I don't have my bags with me, or what if it is too short? So off the rider came and into the drill press it went. Drilled and tapped to 3/8-17 and inserted two more tripod thread bushings.

Next a 1/4 carriage bolt and a rubber stand off.

Now that's better.

Now for some test shots at 50 yards. Here is the best group with my first try with the new rear bag rider/mono.

Now on to the next project.

And for those that are thinking, Why didn't you just drill and tap to 1/4? Using the thread adapters, I was able to install the lower adapter and then clock the upper just slightly off from the lower to create a slight interference and eliminate any wobble from a loose fit. Worked out great!

If you are winding them full open and then letting them release without a pellet, slamming against the stop bar, they can break off. Just fill the first hole after the stop bar then twist till the next hole is clear and fill it. Don't twist all the way around and try to fill the very first hole with all the tension on the mag only to let it spin free. Lots of same style mags will break that way.

I just installed a 700cc bottle on my Prophet with the 177 barrel, I just switched to my 25 caliber barrel not done any shot count , Regulator stays the same 130 bar Hammer spring screwed in 1 1/2 turn bring the big 25 33 gr pellet up to 900 FPS, I like to set down and shoot not worry about the air and this 700 cc bottle lets me do just that, and now I hear RTI has a 740cc bottle out , Just days after I bought my 700cc bottle , But thats just air guns and the way it is ,.

Got my 22 Compact performance II , I got the 510mm CZ barrel , This gun is LOUD very loud, The barrel comes right up to the end of the shourd , Shooting the JSB 18 gr at 980 FPS super accurate so far at 48 yards , Everything about this gun is smoother and seems more refined than my Prophet Performance I I will not be buying anymore OEM magazines I didn't even get to use my 177 magazine I bought with my barrel kit.
