Roland's 3.1 PnP Scopless Build

PNP? I'm not familiar with that term. Your son showed great control and patience waiting for his shot. Congratulations!

I have to say that a little I'm bummed out. The other Rolaids builds were so very much more affordable. If I had the money I'd buy one without a doubt. Which is a little foolish as I don't know what makes the 3.2 so much better than say the 2.1? Could you tell a novice such as me why chose to go the way of the 3.2?

Roland has built in a progression, each having more function and detail. He has a channel on YouTube where you can follow his progress over the last couple of years.
I went with the 3.1 specifically due the ability to have a spotting camera and a shooting camera via a switch by the trigger. I also included a DVR so my son and I could record our activities. Roland did a fantastic job building this rig. You can see plastic welds etc.. where he meticulously thought of every need, especially for me and my one handed shooting. I'm very happy with this setup, even with the cost. I agree it is not for everyone, but it's perfect for me.
Lastly I am hoping Roland joins this forum so he can answer these questions himself :) (I don't want to speak for him, but I do want to support him)

2.0 uses Goggles and a single camera along with a traditional Scope.

Hey Mike,

Thanks for sharing the link to your post! That rat shot makes me grin ear to ear :) I have enjoyed taking numerous friends out ratting and after almost 500 rats in the last few years I must say I have as much fun watching others get to do this as shooting them myself. I remember about a year ago I had two cousins from the Modesto, CA area come to visit. Took them out for a night of ratting and starling control and I don't think I heard so much giggling and chuckles in my life from a couple grown men :-D

Thanks again for sharing the videos!
