- Utah Airguns

I love seeing more & more Airgun events pop-up around the country. The United States has a pretty sad circuit compared to those across the pond.

I also like that we've got a fresh take on things. No offense to traditional FT shooters because that's a very challenging discipline; but it's nice to see events based on the airguns most commonly used here.

Utah Airguns doesn’t do anything half way.. I think this is going to be an amazing event for years to come.

To Michael’s point, I love that we (the US) are creating / modifying airgun sport to match our unrestricted, power hungry “needs” haha. But seriously, I love the idea of Field Target, especially HFT. Did a couple of matches with a borrowed rifle a few years back and loved it - BUT, those darn 20fpe rules! I even went out and bought an HFT legal rig and found I had zero use for it outside of that arena. Wondered (out loud at times) why we couldn’t have a “Hunter” FT class with rifles that people actually hunt with. Was pleasantly surprised when AOA introduced American FT.

Cheers to Utah Airguns.. An event by and for American air gunners!
