Absolutely love that stock. Did you get a chance to see this rifle prior to purchase or was it a luck of the draw?

This is a stock that had a slight blemish in the wood that showed up in the final stages of production. Quality control at RAW must be brutal because it's really hard to find.
The EBR was a few weeks away I was hoping the rifle I ordered from RAW would be ready for the competition. To save some time they offered me this stock or wait a few weeks for another one to complete my order. They sent me a photo and it was a bird in hand moment, I said "Hell yaah I'll take it!!!

Must admit, you chose wisely. I'm sure RAW gave a little discount for the blemish. 
Besides, what's a slight blemish anyways. Every time I take out one of my rifles, I always return home with some "new" blemish through hard use. Gives it character.
Anyways, that Rock Rat was fortunate to be dispatched by a rifle with much class.
