I signed up for almost every RMAC and EBR event just to get the full experience. For slugs, my intended rifle/slug setup shoots in the 130-160fpe range depending on the tune. I signed up for the RMAC >140fpe. Not knowing at the time that I could have entered both <140fpe, and >140fpe. I'm on the waiting list for the <140fpe.
Knowing that we will be shooting out to 300+ yards, I put in some practice at 200m and 300m today. I think I'm doing OK, but does anyone know what size targets will be at the slug events?
Today's results, 5 shots each group. Wind was gusting slightly with the cross component mostly in the 4mph-7mph range. Elevation adjustment and windage adjustment for Target #1 was from Chairgun data. Subsequent targets were after some additional adjustments. I was able to keep all shots on the 8.5"x11" sheets at 200m, but not at 300m. I got in a couple of miles of walking just setting/checking/retrieving the targets.
Outside of 10 ring is 1moa diameter.
Outside of 8 ring is 2moa diameter
Outside of 6 ring is 3moa diameter

At first, I was thinking that it was not holding together at 300m, but based on the 200moa spread, it seems about right. I guess that depends on the target sizes at RMAC and EBR.
