Rifle rest for shooting off bench?

According to the folks at OPTICSPLANET.com the units have been discontinued by the MFG. Might find it interesting to read the reviews of the unit on the same OP website. Hope it helps.

Personally, I like using my sand bags, better than I do the two "rests" I have now. Just personal preference. I would say it would be nice to have some fine tuning on the elevation, you can't get that from a bag. Good luck with your search.

I have the aluminum model but I improved it by adding the speed screw from Brownells, much simpler one handed adjustment.

If you can't find a new one for sale, I'll sell you the one I have. I've got the same mod as Brian has. Makes it much easier to use. PM me if you are interested.

I also have a similar rest from Caldwell. When Shooting at a single.bullseye I like this type of rest but when I shoot at a 25 bullseye target 5 rows of 5 the bald eagle is much better and faster to use.

Does anyone have any experience with Caldwell's Fire Control front rest? It looks to be a poor man's Farley/SEB.

Better hurry up and buy the Bald Eagle. Looks like Grizzly/Bullets.com is going out of business.
