Rifle mounted laser rangefinder?

Has anyone tried one of these on their air rifles? Seems like it would be useful for shooting at ranges past point blank to get a quick range and then holdover and shoot. Normally I use my binoculars to spot game, then shift to the hand held rangefinder, then use scope, holdover, and shoot. This would appear to eliminate a step and make things happen more quickly...

The only problem I foresee is shooting out at like 200 yards+. I use LOTS of turret play when I shoot so having some sort of cowitness with my scope's crosshairs might not be too exact the further out you go, unless you keep the turrets in one spot for lasing and then after gaining your yardage info you can begin to dial in your turrets for elevation/windage....

Any experience on this matter? I've got various iterations in my Amazon cart and need more feedback before I commit.

ETA: being I have a first focal plane scope it won't matter, but on second focal plane scopes you'd probably want to lase the target at a single given zoom level and not stray too much.
