Gorilla is the first pneumatic SMARTGUN in the world. You can shoot slugs and pellets in single, semiauto, full auto mode. It has elecronic regulator and hammer, all adjustments of this airgun is made with mobile app. Adjusting the settings from slugs to pellets (and all other settings) are made in few seconds with your smartphone application. You can save up to 10 setups of fire - for example in .22 caliber (1) for 1,03g pellets, (2) for 1,645g pellets, (3) for 2,0g slus and (4) for 2,6g slugs.

After saving all the setups you need - you can use your Gorilla without any smartphone - change the modes by clicking the buttons on Gorilla.

It has different fire modes - single fire mode for singletray shooting, semi-auto, full auto with adjustable cut-offs (from 2 to 10). The magazine in .22 caliber includes 26 chamber for pellets or slugs. Regulated power available for .22 caliber above 125 Joules. The speed of full auto shooting is 480-520 shots per minute.

This was a short review of this new airgun.

And here are some tests:

Semiauto mode, 40gr slugs, 110 yards, three ten shots groups - 0,84 MOA average. A lot of witnesses were there, because we understand that the result is unbelievable.

We are just starting mass production here in Russia. We will need some time to set it up and go to stable production. It is very complicated task. I think that we will come to foreign markets on 2021 or late 2020. I hope that you can see me with Gorilla Carbine on RMAC, EBR and probably Pyramid Air Cup.

The FPS is changed as usual - by air regulator pressure and hammer punch strength adjustment. You can change the regulator air pressure and the airgun checks it 200 times per second. If the regulated pressure is lower than the assigned one, airgun automatically adds pressure. The hammer punch strength is also regulated with app.

So you can save your adjustments of the airgun in different profiles and choose any you need when you need.

PMC (PRECISION MARKSMAN CHALLENGE)

- No semi-auto guns are allowed in the Speed or PMC events.

As far as I understand there is no restrictions about 100 yard benchrest and semi-auto. And Gorilla also supports shooting in single mode even with magazine - you gave to push trigget button to put the projectile into the barrel. So it is fair single shot mode.

I think using it in single shot mode is allowed. Of course it’s not allowed in RMAC Speed Challenge or Precision Marksman while in semi auto. You’ll have to ask about the other events, but I don’t see why not. Email or PM Utah Airguns and confirm. @utah-airguns

Remember pellets only for everything except the small bore Slug Challenge.

This is S (sports) modification for Benchrest shooting and it is rather heavy - about 9-10 pounds without the score. But as you, probably, remember my EBR gun weight was about 2 times heavier, and it didn't bother me shooting Field Target on EBR.

This gun has no choke. I've prepared it's barrel myself (all barrels on S models will be prepared so) and it is really good and universal. To tell you the truth I didn't expect it to be so good with slugs and pellets at the same time.

I can't wait for a reliable semi-auto for pest control, and I am very excited about the electronic adjustability! If I never see a bolt or side-lever again it's fine with me :)

Do you have any ideas of price yet? Shots per fill? Shots per battery charge? How are you charging the battery? Look into the Qi wireless charging standard for cell/mobile phone worlds so you can charge the gun without an external electrical contact or breaking o-ring seals. Are you using removable magazines? Both the Huben and LCS choose fixed magazines which is not great. If you are still looking at magazines pay very close attention to the Weihrauch or Taipan type magazines that are super easy to load, and reliable with no moving parts. Also make sure the magazine is deep enough for slugs and I think the longer pellets are the Predator Polymag. Make sure the cheek-rest is non-metal (i.e. plastic or wood) and ideally height adjustable. The gun looks chunky, though, so see what you can do to shave some bulk & weight of it. Also make sure you offer a version that is all black. Lots of people will probably love the red accents which look great, but I would want a gun that is as plain as possible. I have no use for full-auto, and it's liability that I would want to be able to disable in the application. Switching power levels would be the most interesting to me (low and high-power) and less interesting in switching type of ammo in the field. I.e. make it generic not specific as outlined in the above (setting 1, 2, 3 etc). If the gun measures velocity, make sure to report that metric in the application (and support both m/s and fps). I think it said somewhere that there was a standard 1/2" UNF thread for moderator which is great. It looks like a standard foster connector! Yeah, isn't the connector subject to damage sitting exposed like that? How does the safety work? I like the one on the Taipan but I think the AR15 style that you operate with your thumb is safer. Some type of indicator that you are out of ammo is helpful. My preference would probably be haptic (vibration).

Whats the thing that is hanging down between the bottle and trigger? What is the rectangular hole in the butt?

I wish you best of luck bringing this to market!
