Umair,
Part of me wonders if you aren’t leaking somewhere in your interface between the thimble and the barrel, thus bleeding off air up near the breech? Can you tell if all the noise is coming from the muzzle end (only) or if there is noise from the near the breach end? Maybe (carefully) stand to the side of the gun, midway between the two locations and (with the gun safely aimed at a target) pull the trigger to see if you hear any discharge noise from the breach end.
Just something to investigate. When you shoulder is on the stock, all the noise is in front of you so it may be hard to tell during normal shooting.
Sean
Dear Sean,
I just tried to seal all contact points even with more interest. The results are better. The puff from the breach is so light that it moves the tissue paper just a bit. No noise from there.
At 970 fps with the twisted TP and minimum HST, I am getting better sound now.
its around 66DB. pic attached.
This 66db is outdoor in my garage shot with the 18 grain pellet at 970 fps. The earlier DB of 79 is under the roof of the garage.
The reg is still at factory setting like around 150 bars.
I have also wrote to RAW as well as Kenhicks for support but I did not receive any input yet.
At 970 fps with 18 grain the gun is extremely accurate up to 90 yards as I checked. At same setting the 25 grain flies at 870 fps and it is accurate onlt till 50 yards at this fps. For 90 yards accuracy I increase 25 grain fps to 935 and the same pellet becomes laser.
My barrel has 1:19" twist rate as I understand.
I also think of upgrading the probe by an O ring as shown in the pic below. It may help 100% sealing.
Further, I need efficiency. For this purpose I hope that I have to reduce the reg pressure as well as hammer weight and use lighter hammer spring.
