REPR Edgun leshiy 2 reg

Just got mine today and I've got to say, not impressed. So this reg is opposite of other regs in that counter clockwise will lower reg pressure according to the video. It shows up looking like its set at 150, I take a shot and it jumps up to 190. Ok so I need to lower it, by turning it counter clockwise according to this.

*Also dumped air before each adjustment.

It seems like its coming down, I get it to around 160 and give it another small turn and it just starts pissing air out the adjustment "cup". I degas fully and take the adjuster out. This is what I see. My air is clean so all this gunk on there is OEM.

Changed orings and cleaned things up a bit, added some silicone grease and same poop. I've got to back it so far out that it just pisses air out eventually.

What am I missing?

Sizes of orings are, small one 5x1.5 and ?

You are doing what I learned the first day I got my REPR, don't unscrew it too much. AND - it is NOT self bleeding - I think a video implied that it bleeds itself - no - you have to shoot down the pressure.

Here is my method - turn 1/4 turn, shoot off 4-5 blank shots, repeat until at the desired pressure. The way I go about it is to shoot until I see the reg pressure gauge stabilize after each shot so I know I am no longer just clearing high pressure air from the plenum.

Glem,

I was thinking about maybe getting one of these, but the more I read (from multiple owners), the less I want one.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that you know what you are doing with airguns. Sure, some are a little different from others, but with you I'm not concerned about 'user error.'

I think that you have saved me a chunk of money. Sorry for what you are going through... but thank you.

I experienced an "air dump" 💩😆 but under a slightly different scenario.

I turned the reg down pretty low (under 100b) and I lost track of how much I was shooting. I probably shot down to 60b. When I went to refill the tiny o-ring on the bottom of reg blew. The pressure was too low to reseat something (probably the tiny ceramic ball) so all the pressure was on the oring.

I replaced the oring (same size as fill probe) and dry fired (with empty magazine) every 50b while filling from zero.

Haven't had a problem since.

Yeah I dropped it a lot like 20 bar between adjustments. But you're doing the same? Counter clockwise to lower the reg? Do you know the size of the bigger of those 2 orings?

I think that's too much. I reduced my reg from 150b to under 100b by turning 1/4 at a time and simulating a shot using the bleed screw after each turn.

I’m not sure who is posting they are having lots of trouble with the REPR but I think they are pretty great. I run my Leshiy from 45 bar all the way up to 160 as the mood strikes and have no issues.

i also feel that the reg took a good 1000 shots to really break in. Refresh rate has picked up and reg creep is down to about 3 bar sitting for a few days.

I meant dropping the air by like 20 bar, to relieve pressure. Not adjusting that much.

Sorry, I misread that.

There should be only one 5x1.5 O-Ring (12) attached to the Rod (4). Often, when the 5x1.5 O-Ring breaks, it breaks into 2 pieces, giving the false impression that there were two O-Rings installed.

Yeah that fooled me I thought it was definitely two orings there. Weird it split both ways. Thank you.

Got it working (as long as it doesn't creep) I don't know why it blew the first time. But my successive tries using 2 orings was the problem with second blow out.

Thanks BlackTitanium and others for your input. Travis at AGS sent me a return label without question I appreciate that. But I'll make sure to need to send it off before I do.

I'm actually using a 5.5x1.5 currently and BigHun is gonna send me a couple of the proper size.

Thanks!

I am delaying the REPR purchase probably until Spring (Apr-May) -33C at my place and we just started rolling in to winter.

The other reason is, that I ordered two 500mm barrels from Russia back in Nov.12th, last confirmed tracking was in Poland Dec.05 and the rest of time is completely blank no info. For those new barrels in .22 and .25 yes I would welcome an externally adjustable Reg, otherwise I have no use for it with my OEM 350 mm.
