Results Report from FT at The Riley Conservation Club near Terre Haute, Indiana

Report from FT at The Riley Conservation Club near Terre Haute, Indiana: What a wonderful day for a shoot in a scenic location located at the site of an old coal mine. The terrain was very rough deep in some heavy woods making for some extremely challenging distance judgement calls. There were shots over water and shots almost straight down. In the rugged woods it was a challenge at times to see your target among the dead-falls. That was cool! All in all it was one of the finest layouts for a competition I could ever imagine. Brian, our host for the event was super organized. The warm up area was well equipped with targets from 10 to 40 yards. The only downside to the day (but wasn't really) is the forecast was for a cold and windy day which kept almost everyone away. The Temps turned out to be perfect and the wind stayed away as we were deep in the woods. This should be a lesson to all those who listened to the forecast and stayed home. I hope they get a second chance to come to another (this was first ever) FT event at The Riley Conservation Club. Thanks Brian for all your hard work. It really paid off for me. I really enjoyed every aspect of this shoot.
