Replacement Walther LGU STOCK

A couple of months ago I purchased a .22 Walther LGU Varmint Hunter with the black synthetic (plastic) stock. The rifle is deadly accurate but I must be too much of a traditionalist as I just don’t care for the stock.

Question #1: will the standard wood LGU stock interchange and #2: where can I obtain a complete replacement stock complete with butt pad?

if I don’t find one I may put a two month old rifle on the classifieds and take a loss.

This isn't on point with your inquiry, OP, but I'm exactly with you on your dislike for the Varmints stock...the has been a LGU Varmint for sale on another forum, which the owner has slicked up. The price is right, I trust the owner...but that hideous stock!

So, I waited, and got a brand new one in a couple of weeks ago! Over the space of maybe a hundred rounds, it developed just the smallest of twang and vibration, which Tune In A Tube took care of!

Good luck with your quest!
