Tuning Replacement BSA R10 factory regulator o ring set in the USA??

Ya, contact Nitin. I rebuilt my MKI reg and it was never the same after the rebuild and I ended up getting a Huma. I ordered mine from Knibbs. AOA is the distributor in the US so may give them a call.

There were many a post on the BSAOG about ppl trying to rebuild them but little sucess. Many of the UK tuners, Huub, Daren at XTXair, Rancidtom, and Ratworks dont work on the OME regs and advice just replacing them. They tried but but gave up. Only one that still sorts the original regs is John Bowkett with his blueprint tune.



The one caveat is that the R-10 has been out for over 10 years and they've made a lot of changes so maybe the newer regs are easier to rebuild to the same standard. 

One of the guys mentioned above wrote me this......"go to an open field, away from civilization, take your strongest arm, and throw that "thing" as far away as possible, never to be found, then go order yourself a Huma". Did that and problems solved!

I have been thinking of putting a Huma in my R10 SE but I am a little confused when looking at the Huma page. It seems you can order the Huma preset to a specific pressure. If that is the case, what pressure would you order? I am considering doing the Huma to get a few more shots out of the gun before having to refill. I'm new to the sport so if I am not understanding or asking the "wrong" questions feel free to educate me!

In my R10 in .177, the Huma was set a 110 bar. Was doing 18fpe with JSB 10.3s with excellent accuracy.
