So i worked a little with my V3 at the bench yesterday, and found good speeds for both MRD pellets and Heavy ones, with the latter ones surprising me as it almost seems like i could not shoot them hot enough, first mag after shooting 13.43 MRD saw the heavies fly way past 1000 FPS, and still they grouped pretty darn well, and working my way slowly down to just under 800 FPS dident make any substantial changes.

BUT ! in my work and while i was getting okay STD of one digit over a 15 shot magazine, the rifle would often cough up a shot that is substantially slower than the rest, so i might shoot 900 FPS but then one shot would be like 870 FPS. And a jump like that you really see on the shot string graph.

So while the STD seem okay the shot string are still a bit saw tooth like, or at least not as smooth looking as i can get my Maverick to look.

Anyone have a suggestion to something i might try with the regulator ? I have by now run 2 - 3000 pellets and slugs thru the rifle so i would say it is broken in.

I would hate having to buy a REG tester, though if i am to tear into the REG that will be needed with these guns as the rifle dont even have a gauge for regulated pressure only bottle pressure.

it would also suck if i had to buy a new REG like one from Huma

Next time out i am going to flip the gun to big plenum mode, to see if that have a say, just to try something easy.
