regulated s510 xtra FAC .22 update - (issue?)

I guys, I've not posted there for quite a long time, I've to say I didn't shoot my s510 for quite a long time either, sadly...
Now that I'm back in the game, I wanted to check the regulation of the rifle (Huma reg I installed about 8 months ago) and here are my results:

1) 888 - 896 - 897 - 896 - 896 - 893 - 937 - 894 - 893 - 939
2) 896 - 892 - 893 - 895 - 894 - 933 - 890 - 892 - 934 - 890
3) 895 - 891 - 888 - 888 - 894 - 889 - 935 - 935 - 891 - 887
4) 890 - 889 - 892 - 931 - 890 - 888 - 893 - 888 - 887 - 886
5) 887 - 885 - 880 - 909 - 910 - 901 - 870 - 867 - 857 - 887 (falls off the reg at 41 - 42 shots)

So... My problem is that, the rifle is very consistent in its inconsistency... As you can see, the majority of the shot are within a 9 fps spread (888 to 897 fps), which is awesome but there are always these 2 shots in eacg serie between 932 and 939 fps and I DON'T FREAKIN UNDERSTAND WHY !!!!
Plus, I don't think 41 regulated shots is enough for a regulated rifle... What do you think about it please guys??

My reg is set at 150 bars, the hammer spring is the stock one and I used a file to take some weight off the hammer.. I don't remember exactly how much it weights now, but I know it only looks like a simple cylinder (except where it locks on the trigger).
And I konw this issue does not come from the installation of the reg, I paid attention to every step of the process and I know I did nothing wrong here, no leaks or anything..

Thanks in advance for your help guys =)

Forget it guys.... --" AS I didn't shoot for a long time, I forgot I had bot 1.030 grams and 1.175 grams jsb's.. so I mixed 2 half empty boxes of jsb's.. Now?? I have a single box of both 1.030 and 1.175 grams jsb's x'D x'D
So everything is fine, the rifle is shooting 50 regulated shot with a 250 bars fill at an average of 895 fps with an ES of 9 fps... good I guess ;)

Nice! I really liked my S510 pre regulator but after the reg its just about as perfect as you can get. I de tuned mine to 15.5 fpe and it just puts pellets right on top of each other at 25 yds. Not a long distance but thats why I detuned it I wanted a 35 yd and under rifle that was amazingly accurate and I got it with my S510;) On full power it was very accurate out to 100 yds but at this setting its amazing. I really need to print out one of those 50 single bull targets or how ever many bulls they have and see how it does off the bench.

You gotta show me the pics then mate ;)
But I'd never detune a rifle to make it a good 25 yarder !!! In my opinion, with the way We are shooting, there is Just not enough challenge !! That's why I love shooting at 100+ yards ^^
Even corvids... I'm not taking them down if they are less than 50 yards away ^^

Still, I'm seriously thinking of selling my s510 to get one of those vulcan in .25... Gorgeous pups with the power / caliber / accuracy I'm looking for...
I'd love not to be obliged to sell my rifle to finance another one but... Being a student sucks sometimes, not enough money for everything you want...

Dont get me wrong James before the de tune it was highly accurate out to 100 yds so at 25 yds it was unbelievable. As good as it was on high power its even better at 15.5 fpe. I ended up buying an R10 .22 and its very accurate, regulated and a higher shot count than my S510. So I wasnt shooting my 510 and I didnt want to sell it so I had to find a role for it. I decided that I needed a rifle for 40 yds and under that was highly accurate, good shot count and dead quiet with out over penetration. The 510 is all of that and since its a carbine I added a moderator to the shroud. With the low power and moderator it is dead quiet. Shot count is roughly 70 shots and the 510 is now my feeder protector, tree squirrel, grouse and dove killing machine.

Winter is coming here in MT so I dont get much time on paper. If I get a chance to hit paper I will post some pics. I know how you feel about not wanting to sell a good rifle to get another. Maybe you wont have to but if you do sell it or find a way to keep it and get the vulcan I want to hear your thoughts on how the two compare.
