Redwolf mag pin

The Actuator Uses “BLEED AIR” from the firing cycle!,(not mechanical action of cocking the rifle) you won’t see it with Mag. in or SS tray in place, you would have to pull trigger and watch for actuator to cycle

Thanks, guess I wasn't looking closely enough when I dry fired without mag or ss tray.

It may be because without sending a projectile through the bore (aka, dry-fire) you may not have the required back pressure needed to actuate the mechanism.

It is extremely fast and it might be that you just didn't see it. For me to see it, I have to get the light just right. So maybe that is what happend. When I leave the tray out and hand load a pellet and shoot it, I see the pin pop up.But if you blink, you miss it.

Yup, had mine break as well. Finding the pin on your magazine magnet does in fact mean your pin is broken. It's a very easy fix and only takes a few minutes.

And, yes, the mag actuator pin functions regardless of what program you're in. That's why there's that hollow area under the single shot tray.

Thanks Tom. Where do I order another one? And, since I don't use the mag, do I even need one? Maybe I'll get the new part but only replace it when I'm going to use the mag again. I shoot it almost exclusively BR.

The mag actuator pin has been on the Daystate rifles since 2012 when the pulsar came out.

I am told that since 2012 the factory itself has replaced a grand total of two!

Maybe the factory has replaced two but I doubt AOA could say that. One of my Renegades broke about a year after owning it. And now I see AOA even made a video showing how to make the repair yourself. Doubt that video would have been made if it was a rare occurance. I do like their system but moving parts do break eventually.

Probably find the factory only replaced two as that's the grand total of people who would send their RW to the factory to replace such a simple little part 😆

Mine broke as well and our daystate technician just sent me two spares. I did install the one - super quick and easy. But now I just use the CARM mags and they render the little things completely redundant, much like the new daystate mags do.

Regarding seeing them move on firing it's just too quick to see easily. Don't put your finger over it though! 😂 I think the speed at which it happens is a big part of why it breaks so often. It also no doubt breaks quicker in higher powered guns.
