There are a lot of very positive things to say about the RW .22HP. It is on the bleeding-edge of air rifles in several ways! No disputing that.

BUT, it's a LOT of money ($2800), and the pellet-on-pellet single hole that some people claim to have with various different rifles I have yet to see with either of my Red Wolfs, even at 35 yards.

That isn't to say that I haven't gotten some nice, tight groups of under a dime at 35 yards. But the consistency isn't there.

Right now I'm cleaning the bore about every 300 rounds. I have been advised by the seller that I may need to clean the bore every 100 rounds or so. That seems to me like a LOT of cleaning. But perhaps that will make a difference?

I'm beginning the effort to wash and weigh every pellet that I shoot. And to clean the bore about every 100-125 rounds. AND, I have an order of the 25gr re-designed monsters en-route to my house very soon. So... I will see how well I can do with those pellets, washed and sorted by weight, and a cleaning every 100 rounds. I'm in search of the illusive pellet rifle unicorn!
