Recycling the foam for pellet packing

Many uses for these dang things, but heres my new favorite. Whats yours?

Ive set up one for each gun with needed hex’s, some others for extras and bit sets. Great on hunting and range trips, easily packed, protects well and keeps noise down. With so many of these piled up who cares if they wear out.

I re-shipped pellets to friends in them. I've cut them up and jam packed them in hollow synthetic stocks to deaden echo. Used a few for packing loose parts I didn't want bouncing around inside a box. Cheap cheek rest on inexpensive rifles. Tool holders as mentioned above. Heck, even used them to ship my brother a couple bottles of his favorite wine in...lol.

An airgunner on the Airgun Warriors forum said they make near indestructable targets.

Many years back a fellow made cheap targets from that stuff. He used layers of foam cut into animal shapes, then added the hot melt glue to add a kill zone on the front. If the kill zone was missed the pellet passes clean thru, but ifvthe kz was hit, there was enough resistance to make the hinged target fall back. Nothing you would use in a real serious match, but fun for just plinking. He used his grandkids to make them, which was a great family time while teaching them skills with tools and having fun at the same time.
