Recommendations for Realistic Accurate Air Pistol with Suppressor

What is your budget?

If you check air guns of Arizona they have a selection from A to Z. The HW 44 is top shelf and you will not be disappointed but NOT cheap at almost $1000. Might tell us budget and use. 

The HW 44 is my pick then. It’s powerful, as accurate as a rifle. Can be set up with just about any type of sight. Only disadvantage is it’s rather large especially with the moderator . For hunting it would be the nuts. Maybe not for 10 meter target shooting but for about any other use perfect.

I think most people including me find their AP16 to be a one hole gun to 20 or more yards. Available in black with different grip options. I use a Hugget Belita but an Atom size might work well enough. I shoot paper and dynamic targets and really enjoy the extra energy when plinking compared to the 177 offerings.

Realistic means what?

Air guns are real guns. Most are more accurate than any powder burner.

Pistols have limited use for much more than target shooting.

If you want "realistic" to an actual "firearm", then the only one available is the Ataman AP16. The HW44 might be ok, but it's far from "realistic" looking (to a powder fire weapon).

The AP16 checks all three of your desires. Plus it's accurate, adjustable, can be changed from a short barrel to a long barrel.

If you want realistic pistols then only ones that fit the bill would be CO2 replicas 

I would not say the AP16 is realistic, but its not half bad in that department, it is for sure the pistol i would go for if i was to procure a pistol.

A bit bigger than a 'pistol'...but the AEA HPSS semi autos are fun. 

Can get adapters to attach moderators for em. 

what about the HW 45 or 75..Beeman P1, Colt 1911 A1 ...many CO2 pistols are realistic ,or go to green gas.

Than get the Ataman AP16 in the compact like many people have said....

Ummm…..Looks like a 1911 target pistol but what amazes me most is that group at 25 yards!

If I am not mistaken, the Ataman will fit your favorite 1911 grips as well, so literally endless near infinite grip options.

Sounds like you're looking for a Co2 replica. Check out Sig Sauers air gun line. They have replicas of their pistols. All of their new stuff has threaded barrels for a moderator and larger capacity magazines. 

If you have a compressor and can do pcp, a Styer if money is not relevant.

Or for less expense. 

Aetimis PP-700 very similar to the version made by the makers of the cricket.

Rocker-1 on GTA makes an adapter or attaching an ldc on them. (He makes very efficient and light ldc's as well.

I really like the Ataman AP-16. Just can't understand why they make the grip look like a 1911, (My favorite gun) but then made the grip angle more like a p-08 Lugar. Blasphemy!!!

With cheap Crosman hp's in .22. With JSB's, one ragged hole!.  Here with hand cast NOE pellets. Shots slugs well as well. Less than 1/3 the price of the Ataman.  With my cast slugs, 80 yards with only hold over rested. (Kentucky windage)
