Recommendations for an aesthetic .25?

I'm looking to get a rifle in .25 and would like to find something pleasing to the eye. Well, to my eyes anyway. I've got a Daystate Huntsman Regal in .22 and really like its appearance. I could just get another one, but am curious what other similar brands/models are out there.

I haven't shopped around in several years, and don't know what new products may be available now. I'm looking for a (preferably) wood stock and classic hunting rifle appearance. Bullpup is not out of the question though. What I want to avoid is anything with a bulbous, exposed air tank. The primary use will be hunting and pest control, and it doesn't need to have a high shot count. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I just watched a review by Southern Gunner on the Daystate Wolverine in .25. He said he waited forever to find one he clearly loves it.

I have one with a nicer wooden stock in .303 and it's a favorite. It shoots so great.

That DS is a beauty. However, like the FX Dreamline Classic that I recommended, the air cylinder is prominent. Not a dealer-breaker for me, although the OP may reject both our recommendations.

There is a gorgeous Steve Corcoran stock for sale on GTA. It is made for a gen 2 Marauder. I would buy this stock and buy a Marauder to drop in it, but I'm left handed.

I think Steve Corcoran quit making stocks about two years ago, so they will get harder to find. His work was art, but not cheap art.

Interesting post.

DHR - You want "others" to satisfy "your" wants..??

What the hell. It's obvious that you have a computer, it's somewhat obvious that you are computer literate. Why, oh why, don't "YOU" do a search for a gun that "YOU" like. ONLY YOU will have to be happy with your next gun choice, not anyone else..! All of the same web sites available to others are...available to...you.

Save the time of the middle man (men), and do yoursearching on your time, you may actually save time ! You won't be looking at everyone else's recommendations..!

Like I mentioned in my original post, I haven't airgun shopped in years and just wanted some ideas from the community here. I appreciate their feedback and suggestions which have been helpful. Sorry if my post somehow pissed you off, but I don't think it was out of line.

Mike

How can you treat DHR22 so badly without knowing his religion, political persuasion, ethnicity, or even if he is a HE at all?

Just my too sense

Ed

Aesthetics are a personal thing, but I can't help staring at my FX Wildcat Mk3 Compact .25 all day.

DHR -

Where do you get that I was ANY...sort of pissed off, in any way ?

BUT...I know when I am looking for my next..."what ever it may be", (car stuff, bike stuff, gun stuff, crossbow stuff...), I know that the only one that can satisfy me, is me. I know that if I picked someone else's choice of what I should spend my money on, and at any point down the road...I decided that I wasn't happy with THAT...person's decision, I'd be pretty pissed that I could not make up my own mind..!!

Out of all of my friends, there's ONE... guy that I would trust pushing me toward an item. And that's only because we've known each other for over 40 years, and we;ve got a pretty good idea what each other likes, car and girl wise anyway..!

I do look at others "opinions"...on the various forums and youtube videos, but again, that's JUST to provide another opinion...on what I'VE, previously decided as my next possible purchase, NOT their "pushing" me to a given unsolicited push toward something. "I" will make the initial decision, then...I'll read about others opinions on that particular item.

Perfect example. I recently purchased a BSA, Defiant rifle. I like about 85% of the rifle. This includes the look, the mechanical's, the shooting, etc. In most of the forums that I read, including here (!?!), it doesn't seem to get much love, anywhere. IF...I'd have asked questions about this rifle, I would have steered away from it...completely. Funny thing is, once in my hands and especially the more I shoot it, the more "I" like it. It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks if it, only...me.

So...again, I'm not at all...upset, annoyed, pissed or any other negative adjective to you or your question. YOUR MONEY, your time. To me, your initial pick of something, should just be just that "your pick, not anyone else's.
