I'm looking to put a picatinny rail on a wooden stock for a bipod mount. Would be nice if I could also get a sling mount on there too but not a requirement. The Magpul stuff I see has risers on the back that won't allow the rail to sit flush on the wooden stock. I looking for something that sits flush and I can secure with a couple of wood screws.

Anyone seen something that will work?

Hi Daxx. Rapid Air Weapons has a kit that they install on their own guns as an option. I'm having it installed on my HM1000x .25. It is a two piece system that has a slot rail that recesses flush into the stock then a picatinny rail that slides into it and locks. You can remove the picatinny rail when not using it as well as use other accessories such as knee riser for field target use. It requires routing it into your stock but any flush mount will need that. You will have to contact them and ask if they will sell it to you.
Here is a link. scroll down to the photo of the Euro rail on the bottom of the forearm:http://www.network54.com/Forum/79574/thread/1434840484/last-1435178305/--%3E+Expand+Thread

I got these recently. They work well. Have good reviews. http://www.opticsplanet.com/magpul-moe-picatinny-rail-sections.html

If you don't want the magpuls then get a swivel stud adaptor. With a picatinny rail.

QD 115 would give you one swivel stud for wood, and one swivel stud for synthetic, you would not need the swivels:
http://www.opticsplanet.com/machine-screw-type-qd-swivel-set-with-1.html This will attach to the swivel stud, and provide a pic rail for your bipod:http://www.opticsplanet.com/blackhawk-swivel-stud-picatinny-rail-adapter.html This bipod would work with the sling stud only (no rail) and will also work with a rail:http://www.opticsplanet.com/reviews/reviews-leapers-utg-tactical-op-bipod-w-picatinny-and-swivel-stud-mount.html
