AA no such thing as TOO much power ...On anything lol.
At the small group I sometimes shoot bench rest with I am the Only one using a scope under 36 power . And the only reason is the longer scopes make loading my gun a pain . Its way overkill for any informal shooting of course .But the X is VERY small and the better you can make sure you are truly centered the better . Even at 12 power on my scope the target dot completely covers the 10 ring .
