Reason why I'm back into airgunning

I been taking care of these critters for about 3 years, but since they live in my chicken coop with shelter and food is almost impossible to get totally rid of them.
just trying to thin them out a little.

Great shot, I love shooting rats too and looks like that shot caused some pressure spike in his skull almost popped his eye out.

Perfect placement. What gun/cal did you use? How far?

Have they established residence in a he coop? Do they seem to have a den in there?

I used my hw35 in .177 Cal. @14 yards using a red light cause these guys comes out at night only. I took a head shot because that's the only part of his body I could see, but with this kind of mouse I can take body shots as well with devastating results due to their fragile body, they only measure around 2" but their droppings cause sickness in my chickens

Perfect use for airguns, pesting! Very specific pest control, No collateral damage like with poisons, and you get to enjoy the job. What can be better?

Well, I think mice kind of know by now that the red light means something bad! And now its hard to get them out and give me a good shot. Thinking about doing some kind of night vision.... But don't know if it will stand the recoil of a Springer

Rio, probably kill your night equipment with springer recoil. You go PCP and night vision the rodents don't have a chance.
